If you are using Satnav, the nearest postcode is BA4 6TD and that will get you to Pylle village church. From there, you will arrive at a T junction in the lane just beyond the church – take the right hand fork signed Pilton and follow about 400 yards until you reach some sharp bends – Land&Sky is a left hand turn signed at the bend.

 

Directions from the A37 / Shepton Mallet

Head south through Shepton Mallet and stay on the A37. There are several roundabouts as you leave Shepton Mallet. As you leave Shepton Mallet you will go past Cannards Grave and a final roundabout be sure to stay on the A37 signed Ilchester / Yeovil rather than the A371 signed Castle Cary. This will take you on down a fosse way main road, through Pylle on the main road at the bottom of a hill, past Jon Thorner’s retail outlet on the left and a garage on the right.  Slow down as the main road ascends and take the right hand turn to Pylle church. After a mile, you will arrive at a large right hand bend around the farm buildings, and Pylle Church on the right, before reaching a T junction signed East Pennard on the left and Pilton on the right. Follow towards Pilton for about half a mile and Land&Sky will b signed as a left hand turn off the lane.

 

Directions from the A303 /Wincanton

Exit the A303 for the A371, it will be signed Wincanton and Castle Cary. Take the A371 to Castle Cary and carry on past Castle Cary railway station towards Canards Grave / Shepton Mallet. You can proceed all the way to Canards Grave roundabout, take the 1st exit along the A37 signed Ilchester and follow it about 2 miles south, through Pylle on the Fosse. (If you are able, you can take a shortcut after Castle Cary by taking a left hand lane turn signed Pylle, about a mile after passing through Castle Cary.)

Drive through Pylle on the main road at the bottom of a hill, past Jon Thorner’s retail outlet on the left and a garage on the right. Slow down as the main road ascends and take the signed right hand turn to Pylle church. After a mile, you will arrive at a large right hand bend around the farm buildings, and Pylle Church on the right, before reaching a T junction signed East Pennard on the left and Pilton on the right. Follow towards Pilton for about half a mile and Land&Sky will be signed as a left hand turn off the lane.

 

Directions from the M5 / Taunton

Exit the M5 at junction 23 and take the A39 east to Street, then Glastonbury. Proceed through Glastonbury towards Shepton Mallet.  At the end of the A361 outside Shepton Mallet turn right at the T junction with the A37. Proceed along the A37 signed Ilchester and follow it about 2 miles south, through Pylle on the Fosse.

By Rail

Somerset is served by South West Trains who operate lines from London Paddington through to Exeter. The nearest rail station is Castle Cary, a 20 minute drive from Land&Sky.  Ask the driver to take you Pylle village church and follow a further half mile towards Pilton and there will be a turning signed for Land&Sky off the lane there.

There are several taxi services that operate out of Castle Cary but during Glastonbury Festival you may find it difficult to get a taxi unless pre-arranged well in advance:
